The festival welcomes everyone to join in the fun to partake in 3 days of festivity, opportunity and celebration. The gates open at 10am on Friday morning to start the party. We are well on our way to providing a world-class event for locals, Cape Tonians and international visitors. Great efforts have been induced to facilitate the inclusion of the local population providing business opportunities and social upliftment. Managing the creation of the Khayelitsha Festival has been hard work within such a short time to bring together a high-profile event. Thanks to the sheer dedication and committment from the events team in the Heart of Healing the Khayelitsha Festival is almost ready to roll!
Expect a fantastic music festival, live performing artists, business exhibitions, a fashion show with a twist, small businesses from the local community, a massive Youth Zone catering from the young audience, NGOs providing life skills and education, great food and drink, competitions and so much more!
