Then, on July 23d we enjoyed a fantastic three course meal with 60 selected guests at the beautiful Old Mutual House in Constantia for our first Fundraising AUCTION! It was organised by Gary Petersen from SANTAM to celebrate all of the good work done by Wines with Heart. Aden Thomas, a true artist behind the microphone, did a fantastic job as master of ceremonies. Through the enormous generosity of everyone present, we raised R15 000 for various causes. Thank you to all the individuals who contributed to making this evening such a successful and enjoyable experience.

We also raised a small amount for a "Specialised equipment Appeal". We understand that there is a constant need for wheelchairs and other custom made equipment and we consider this a very important area in providing quality care to disabled individuals.
To keep the mission of Wines with Heart foremost in our hearts and minds, we recently visited one of the homes for disabled children that we support. This visit again highlighted the challenging conditions these organisations face on a daily basis. The real champions are the workers on staff who provide quality care to the weakest in our society- under very difficult conditions. These heroes continue to suffer from long work hours, poor infrastructure and a lack of funding. There is a standing invitation to give as much as you can when you can. You can always donate through us whenever you order our great wines at a great price. It's all for a great cause!
