Eddie Daniels, who served on Robben Island with Mr Nelson Mandela for fifteen years, becomes the patron of our new initiative called THE GOOD CITIZEN'S CLUB.

For those of you who don't know, I have recently returned from a 10 week trip back to the UK. I had to leave to wait for my VISA to be processed so decided that, rather than enjoy the horrific weather the UK encountered this summer, I would spend my time arranging a fund raiser for my project Intyatyambo.

Upon finishing the final prototype for our FoodTent initiative, we still needed to find 32ml PVC conduit as part of the anchoring system for the structure.

 On Friday the 3rd of July we saw just what an impact can be had when people stand together.

 During the first weekend of August the Charity Wines team was a guest at the Stellenbosch Wine Festival. Thanx to CADEK Media and the Stellenbosch Wine Route, Charity Wines had its own stall and ofcourse lots and lots of our members? great wines.

What a wonderful experience! After only a week of starting work at The Heart of Healing, I had the great opportunity of joining the team on an amazing community project.

The Heart of Healing was recently commissioned by our friends Parmalat to identify a social enterprise in which to invest the funds raised during their annual suppliers golf day.

Have you ever taken a step back and thought about how your actions and experiences have shaped you?  Have you ever noticed of how the relationships you have nurtured add irreversible quality to your life?  This has indeed, been my experience this year.  A good year. No, in fact; a great year.

Heart often hosts workshops and presentations for our current and potential clients. We used to have serious difficulty viewing the screen due to the fact that we didn't have blinds in our boardroom.

The Heart of Healing headed up country to the Karoo Town of Touws River recently, to conduct a Stakeholder Perception Audit for a major Transport Engineering Firm called CTE.
 

 It is a Friday morning tradition at The Heart to invite a guest speaker around to motivate and inspire the team.

This way we get to know more about all the other people out there who are making a positive difference in this beautiful country of ours, by helping those in need. This way we learn to support each other.
